■EATALY MARUNOUCHI
Hello everyone! Today is a gourmet special feature. Recently, I went to Eataly, which has become a hot topic in Tokyo. Eataly has Marunouchi, Harajuku, and Nihonbashi stores in Tokyo. I would like to introduce the Marunouchi store which is the biggest among those 3 stores.
What’s interesting about EATALY is its wide variety of services they provide us. It’s just like a large complex departments that combines Italian food grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, and so on. For example, you can use restaurants for lunch, and after that stop at grocery store where you can buy side dishes, wines to enjoy in your house. It’s just like a food amusement park.
Personally, I’m interested in gelato sold in stores, but I’ve only used restaurants for now. The restaurant, is also fabulous for its atmosphere and authentic Italian cuisines. Visited the restaurants for sometimes, I feel it is suitable for dates in case you want to enjoy drinking slowly in a bright atmosphere.
As for the cuisines I ordered, please check the photos above. As you can see from the photos, EATALY offers authentic Italian tastes no matter which menu you order. Personally, I recommend pizza for EATALY! Not to mention for its wide variety of pizza menus, it is baked in the restaurant and the seasoning is just good. I’ve eaten several kinds of flavors, but I especially liked the ‘burrata pizza’ I ordered this time. The melting cheese at the moment you stab the knife is the best… Mentioning the size, it is enough for two people to share one.
If you want to enjoy authentic Italian food and enjoy Italian mood, this is a restaurant that you should definitely visit.
By the way, it’s on the first basement floor of ‘Gransta Tokyo’, but the basement is really complicated and difficult to get reached. Actually, I got lost many times … There are shops in ‘Starbucks’, and ‘the green window（みどりの窓口）’ is diagonally in front of you, so please use it as a guide when you lost.
